In response to the ISTD competition brief 'milestones', I chose a series of connected events that were very personal to me. I believe that milestones can shape you as a person and often guide you through your lifetime experiences.
Channelling the high energy, loud, affirmations of Rage Against the Machine’s music onto the page, the publication showcases the contrast with the small-scale peaceful side of the journey that was my unique perspective on this genre-bending band.
I consciously drew from a punk-rock zine-style aesthetic to inform my design choices in alignment with the content of the publication.
